Olenko’s Raw Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups Recipe

Published : Saturday, July 4th, 2015

  • This is tasty and healthy alternative to the real Reese’s cups and is not made with raw cacao which among other things is a stimulant but a organic carob powder. This was an experiment and it came amazing!
  • The raw cups can be serve with peanut butter or a raw almond butter. They can be store in the fridge or in a freezer. My recipe has only few ingredients and is super easy to make.
  • 2 cups of pure water
  • 1 cup of organic carob powder
  • 5-6 dates
  • 10 raw almonds
  • 10 raw cashews
  • shredded coconut
  • 2 TBS of chia seeds
  • cinnamon to your taste
  • optional- raw honey or maple syrup
Mix carob powder with water and dates in the Vitamix or a high speed blender. Mix almonds and cashews. When smooth add cinnamon and if you need a sweetener add it too, mix again. Pure the mixture to the glass container, add shredded coconut and chia seeds. Mix again until smooth.
Put the mixture in the mini paper baking cups with the tea spoon.
When they are all filled in put them in the fridge or in a freezer ( for about 2h). Serve with peanut butter or a raw almond butter on the top. So yummy! Enjoy!
* If you wan’t eat them right away, keep them in the freezer and take out 10 min before serving, add raw almond butter or peanut batter, they taste amazing.
