Olenko’s Healthy Jackfruit Smoothie

Jackfruit is sweet in taste. It contains thorny projections outside and soft flesh inside. It contains high amount of nutrient like vitamin, minerals, electrolytes, phytonutrients, carbohydrate, fiber, fat and protein. Jackfruit is a good source of calorie but contain no cholesterol or saturated fats. Jackfruit is a sweet and delicious fruit with many health benefits. It contains high amount of carbohydrate and calorie that provides energy instantly. It is rich in antioxidants which protect from cancer, aging and degenerative disease. Due to rich antioxidants it increases eye vision and protect from cataract and macular degeneration. It is a good source of potassium which maintains fluid and electrolyte level in balance. Also it improves bone and skin health. So eating Jackfruit is a good choice which provides excellent taste, nutrition and health benefits.

I love fresh and dry Jackfruit ❤I will say it is my favorite fruit! This smoothie is very yummy and so easy to make.

2 cups fresh or dry Jackfruit

1 frozen ripe banana

1 cup baby spinach

½ cup raw cashew or Brazilian nuts

1 TBS lucuma powder

1 pinch of reishi powder

2 dates

1 raw fig

piece of apple

fresh mint

piece of cactus pear

1 cup pure water

In the Vitamix or high speed blender mix fresh or dry jackfruit, frozen banana, spinach, lucuma powder, reishi powder and water. When smooth top it off with pieces of fresh Jackfruit, apple, fig, cactus pear and fresh mint. Enjoy : )
